South Bend Photography | Winter Family Photo Session
This year we have such warm winter! With this family, we were waiting for snow for almost a month. Finally we had a “snow photo session” scheduled for Valentine’s Day! It was pretty cold, but the weather forecast showed that the snow would melt by the next day, so we had no other choice 🙂 The session took place in the morning with beautiful hazy sunlight. I loved working with this couple and their little sweetheart.

Behind the scenes: It was a pretty crisp morning with the temperature around 23 degrees. Most of the photos were taken during the first 20 minutes. I kept the family pretty active, so we didn’t get too cold. My camera was working much slower in this temperature, but nevertheless we captured wonderful photos in a short time. By the end of the session, I captured the cutest pouting baby! Apparently, she didn’t like to slide by herself without a parent. She got up, turned back to us and gave us a look that would make us feel guilty 🙂
